Growing up on the coast of Maine, Chef & owner Peter Masin-Peters spent much of his childhood immersed in kitchens & eateries all across New England. Traveling with his father—a chef, food critic, and culinary arts instructor for well over 50 years—Peter learned an appreciation for hard work and quality food made from scratch. After moving away and earning his degree in psychology in North Carolina, his Maine roots lured him back to the coast. Continuing the family tradition, Peter bought Peter Ott’s on the water in 2006 and took over as head chef. Staying true to classic Maine favorites, fresh seafood and steaks, Peter Ott’s on the water is a Camden Maine staple one “ott” not to miss. Peter lives in Camden with his wife Jamie and their two children, Stella & Bodhi.
